Jeremy Farson ladies and gentlemen. I've been working on my final project for my editorial photography class. I chose to shoot 5 to 7 portraits of painters // illustrators, so I obviously had to think of Jeremy. I got to shoot in his art room and it was one of the best photoshoots i've ever had ! Jeremy is really cool to work with and I had no trouble telling him what to do and all. He grabbed this sculpture of a bunny he made a while back and it really shows how proud he is of it. It was the first thing he grabbed and posed with ! He started painting over his most recent piece just for the lulz of it. After we finished shooting this set he said: " Hold on lemme finish this. " And did his shenanigans with it. The he painted over the other one. Reference picture for painting. I asked Jeremy If I could splatter paint on him or something and he agreed and immediately grabbed his red a...
Alright ! This is just my first attempt of making a double-exposure effect ! I know it could be better I know, I know u______u I'm kinda glad I pulled this off because most of the work I've seen uses a white background, so in order to practice the magic, I was looking for images to edit and I remembered I had these cool-looking ones. Had to watch lots and lots of Photoshop tutorials ! This is my friend Julie, she's great. Her work is great, go check it out riiiight HERE So Julie and I were playing with external flashes in the studio and had to make a " creative " image~ We tried this and it turned out pretty cool ! So glad we did this. Here's a picture of me taken by Julie. Julie's image fused with the picture of the Ocean I took reminded me of the song " Purified " by Of Mice & Men !
Image number one of this long-term series I'm starting based on a mix of a fantasy world + a variable medieval feel to it. There's a lot to say about how I came to start this series or even came to think of it. Art has been a huge part of my life and I've always associated it with movies, video games and music I grew up with. I've always been fascinated by fantasy and just about anything science fiction and I can say about 80% of my work is greatly inspired by it and it's something I'll never stop doing. This past winter break was hard yet a good stage for me because I got tired of my work. I got tired of looking at what I've done so far and not feeling 100% creative and feeling like I didn't fit into any of the styles I was trying all this time. I started taking photos of zoo animals to lifestyle to self-portraits and creative portraits etc. I can say i'm happy where I'm standing because that's the special thing about ar...
